CDBG-DR Toolkit: Communications
CDBG-DR grantees are required to develop policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure they meet all of HUD‘s required public communications, outreach and engagement requirements. For example, grantees must have a defined process for how they will conduct homeowner applicant communications, make documents like the Action Plan available for public comment, and maintain a public-facing website with up-to-date information for all stakeholder groups.
This guide provides an overview of CDBG-DR required communications and public outreach activities. It outlines pre-award, planning/program design, and operations tasks, in addition to reporting, compliance, monitoring and closeout tasks.
